ROAD REPAIR - CITY OF MILWAUKEE

Visit to the City of Milwaukee to learn the materials, equipment, and processes to maintain and repair the city streets.  Students will get opportunity to ride on heavy equipment, assist with filling potholes, and build curbs


AVIATION RESCUE SIMULATION - EAA MUSEUM

Students will be use Math, Problem Solving, and Teamwork to complete an aviation rescue simulation.  Teams will have to calculate payload for their assigned airplane, decide which resources to transport, and develop a flight plan.


​BUILD UP KIT - ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS

Interactive building projects designed to teach Engineering and project planning.  Students will use Math skills to prepared project budgets and manage costs.


CITY OF MILWAUKEE BRIDGE SITE

Site visit to a City of Milwaukee Bridge.  Student will see and observe the inner working and operations.


​PORT OF MILWAUKEE

Site visit to the Port of Milwaukee to observe port operations.  Board one of the ocean vessels that is in port.  Learn how the Port identifies and track ships entering and exiting the port.


INVASIVE SPECIES ASSESSMENT - UW SCHOOL OF FRESHWATER SCIENCES

Student will conduct an Invasive Species Assessment base on lessons learned at the Port of Milwaukee.  The Assessment measures Ocean vessels' impact on Lake Michigan.


​ABC OF WISCONSIN

Learn the skill trades of the road and construction industry.  Perform tasks on the training simulators used to teach aspiring apprentices.
